Emanuelson, Jon and Lauren

Jon and Lauren first met at the campus of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. On January 5, 2008, just after graduating, they were united in marriage. With pastoral guidance from Christ Community Church, they applied and were accepted to work in cooperation with Zion Evangelical Ministries in Africa. After their fundraising was completed, they were sent to the mission field in South Africa at the end of 2010. 

 Since that time, it has been a great privilege for them to continue participating in God’s work among the amaZioni. They and their three children live in Gonubie in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Jon participates in the Zion Evangelical Bible School of East London as well as a distance site of Mukhanyo Theological College, also located in East London. Jon and Lauren work together on a publication for the amaZioni called The Zion Banner. Their vision is to see strong leaders and strong churches developed among the amaZioni of Southern Africa.
