Kevin and Christine Pinter fell in love with the mission of ZEMA on their first short-term trip to South Africa while teenagers. They have had a strong passion to share with others the unique opportunity ZEMA has reaching the amaZioni with the Gospel and freedom in Christ. It has been their joy to return as often as possible since 2004. Newly married, the Pinters served for 18 months at Sunbury Christian Camp in 2009-2011. It was there they first worked closely with Greg and Carlene Seghers, who are currently ZEMA’s Home Office Directors. On two occasions, the Pinters returned to Sunbury with their family for 3-month terms, filling in for missionaries on home assignment. These experiences gave them opportunities to minister to the amaZioni and also learn from and grow relationships with many missionaries and mission partners. 

Both Kevin and Christine received their bachelor’s in education and began their careers as teachers. In recent years, Christine has homeschooled their children: Thobani 14, Titus 12, and Elsa 10. Kevin and his brother own Acts Construction, and Crown ICF; for both of which Kevin’s role is office manager. Kevin has also grown a business of property investments.

The Pinters have enjoyed working and becoming a part of ZEMA’s ministries through the years. Kevin and Christine feel the Lord has positioned them with passion and experience to take the role of home office directors from the Seghers in April of 2027. The Pinters look forward to continuing to minister and learn from the Seghers during their transition into this new role.
