Isaiah Durant is currently a senior theology student at Moody Bible Institute. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Isaiah first became interested in ministry with the amaZioni through conversations with ZEMA at Moody’s Missions Week in 2022. “The Lord has been leading me toward ministry in theological education overseas. “I am very excited for the opportunity to serve with ZEMA this summer! I would be delighted to serve in this capacity, to gain the experience, and to see if the Lord is leading me to serve with ZEMA long term.” When not studying, Isaiah enjoys staying active by playing sports and reading theology and literature. “Continuing to expand and cultivate the mind the Lord has given me is a massive blessing.”

As a ZEMA intern, Isaiah will be assigned to work with missionaries in Gauteng. Pray for Isaiah as he seeks the Lord at this time. Pray for the relationships that he will be developing as he ministers in South Africa, and pray for God’s provision and direction.

Isaiah’s life verse is Romans 8:18, “ I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
